Increase engagement for streaming launches
Approach
Traditionally edited trailers for films and series weren’t performing on TikTok. After digging into how users engage on the platform, I tested a story driven script that put viewers into the shoes of the main character.
Impact
Audience response led to the format being scaled across the full short-form team. We dug into what made the format work and taught a team of writers and editors to create hundreds of original “Plot Pitches” to support new launches. The format earned a Webby Award for Best Social Video Series.

Of all the launches I supported at Prime Video, The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3 was the most high-stakes. We had no access to the show before it aired, so the entire process — concepting, pitching, producing, and packaging — happened within a single day, repeatedly, as the season aired each wek. I helped lead the team through that pace. The show became a genuine phenomenon, reaching over 70 million viewers globally in its first 70 days.
